The Role

Senior Account Specialist, Trade Ally Network
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

As a Senior Account Specialist, you will support all residential utility programs, working closely with the client and ICF’s implementation team, to recruit, train, and manage a trade ally/service provider network.      
 
A Senior Account Specialist will gain exposure to various types of energy efficiency projects and typically provides relationship management, field/virtual training, and performance tracking of a trade ally/service provider network, and other technical services for a utility energy efficiency program and their stakeholders. In this role, you would be responsible for managing qualifications, recruiting, and participation requirements, innovative reporting, and analysis, conducting market research, and facilitating communications and coordination across a Residential Trade Ally/Service Provider (TA) network throughout Louisiana.

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead the recruitment, development, and management of a Trade Ally network to ensure participation and satisfaction in the program  
  • Develop monthly technical bulletins, outreach planning, and outreach communication efforts in collaboration with program implementation teams 
  • Assist in program reporting, incentive processing, and administration tasks as directed  
  • Develop, execute, and manage a training program for Trade Allies and internal support team members on best practices and technical subject matters relevant to current issues and direction of the implementation team 
  • Support the reporting team to assemble and provide reports, presentations and database management using many MS Office programs along with industry-specific software tools. 
  • Stay informed on industry news, updates, and trends. 
  • Other duties to support the program that may vary depending on the time of year  
  • Travel requirements: This is a hybrid position that would require the selected candidate to report to the ICF Baton Rouge, LA office 3 days a week. Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel up to 10% of the time for site visits, meetings and events

 
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Management, Building Science, Energy Systems, Sustainability or related field (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
  • 5+ years experience working with trade allies (contractors, vendors, partners) within building sciences, energy efficiency, construction, sustainability, energy industry and/or related experience
  • Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check  

 
What would be useful (preferred qualifications): 

  • Experience and knowledge of residential energy efficiency  
  • Certified Energy Manager or BPI credentials a plus 
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$73,738.00 - $125,354.00
