Als Business Development Manager bist du für die Gewinnung neuer Kunden und Sektoren verantwortlich. Du qualifizierst Inbound-Leads ohne AM-Zuordnung, erstellst Angebote, führst diese bis zum Abschluss und übergibst Accounts an das Account Management, sobald sich ein Potenzial für langfristige Betreuung (regelmäßige Analysen oder Subscriptions) abzeichnet.
Das erwartet dich (You will)
Du definierst Zielkunden, übernimmst Outbound- und Inbound-Sales-Aktivitäten und führst qualifizierte Leads bis zum Abschluss.
Du erstellst Angebote und Pitches und übernimmst die kommerzielle Verantwortung im Sales-Prozess.
Du arbeitest eng mit Research (Machbarkeit & Design), Strategic Advisors, Marketing, Product Leads sowie Account Management (für das Handover) zusammen.
Du unterstützt beim Aufbau neuer Sektoren, indem du Cases, Referenzen und Vorlagen mit Marketing und Product Leads entwickelst.
Du hältst deine Pipeline vollständig und aktuell, inkl. Status, Wahrscheinlichkeiten und Terminen, um maximale Transparenz zu schaffen.
Du sorgst für ein sauberes Handover an Account Manager, wenn Kundenpotenziale längerfristig betreut werden sollen.
Das bringst du mit (You have)
3–7+ Jahre Erfahrung im B2B-Neukundengeschäft, idealerweise in insights-, analytik- oder beratungsnahen Umfeldern.
Nachweisbare Erfolge in der Qualifizierung von Leads, Angebotserstellung, Verhandlung und Pitching.
Starke Kommunikations- und Abschlussstärke – du kannst Entscheider auf Augenhöhe überzeugen.
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
Proaktive, zielorientierte Arbeitsweise mit Freude daran, neue Kundenbeziehungen aufzubauen.

Skills Required
- 3-7+ years experience in Account Management, Consulting, or market-research related environment
- Strong advisory, communication, and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of market research methods and data-driven consulting approaches
- High customer orientation and strong commercial understanding
- Experience building and developing long-term client relationships
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Confident use of MS Office
- Experience with CRM systems
