As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. Job Responsibilities:

Diese Position bezieht sich auf MAGNA Energy Storage Systems GmbH, einem Geschäftsbereich von Magna. Für unseren Standort in Kerpen suchen wir ab sofort Sie als Schichtführer Produktion Automotive (m/w/d).

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Verantwortung für die Produktion von hochwertigen Erzeugnissen nach Zielvorgaben (qualitativ und quantitativ)

  • Überwachung und Optimierung der Arbeitsabläufe und Produktionsprozesse

  • Rüsten der Arbeitsplätze

  • Behebung von Störungen an Anlagen

  • Durchführung und Dokumentation von täglichen Prozessaudits sowie Berichterstattung an die Produktionsleitung

  • Verantwortung für die Einhaltung der Arbeits-, Gesundheits- und Umweltvorschriften, sowie der Betriebsordnung

  • Verantwortlich für die OEE (Dokumentation, Einleitung und Umsetzung von Gegenmaßnahmen bei Nicht-Zielerreichung)

  • Mitarbeit bei allen internen SQTKM-Themen (Sicherheit, Qualität, Termin, Kosten, Mitarbeit)

  • Einarbeitung neuer Mitarbeiter

  • Problemlösung (A3, 5-Why, etc.)

  • Führung von Mitarbeitern im laufenden Schichtbetrieb, einschließlich Führung von Mitarbeitergesprächen, Urlaubsplanung, etc.

  • Abteilungsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit mit Qualität, Logistik, Instandhaltung etc.

Wissen und Ausbildung

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Qualifikation als Meister oder staatlich geprüfter Techniker in einem einschlägigen Fachgebiet oder vergleichbare Qualifikation

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in den oben beschriebenen Aufgaben wünschenswert, idealerweise in einem Industrieunternehmen 

  • Ausgeprägte Organisations- und Kommunikationsstärke

  • Teamfähigkeit

  • Faire Mitarbeiterführung

  • Belastbarkeit und Flexibilität

  • Bereitschaft zur 3-Schicht-Arbeit

Skills Required

  • Completed qualification as Meister or state-certified technician (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • Several years of professional experience in production/supervisory tasks
  • Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing company
  • Willingness to work 3-shift schedule
  • Ability to monitor and optimize production processes and document OEE
  • Ability to troubleshoot and remedy equipment/machine faults
  • Conducting and documenting daily process audits and reporting to production management
  • Teamwork, strong organizational and communication skills
  • Fair and effective employee leadership including personnel conversations and vacation planning
  • Problem-solving skills (A3, 5-Why or similar methodologies)
  • Onboarding and training new employees
  • Awareness of and responsibility for occupational health, safety and environmental regulations
