Job Description: Senior Account Manager- Insurance Solutions (Automotive)
The Role: We're on the lookout for a motivated Sr. Account Manager who's eager to learn and has experience working with Automotive/Personal Lines in the insurance industry, particularly when it comes to VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) solutions.
The Impact: Your main focus will be on building relationships and expanding revenue primarily with insurance companies, agencies, and MGAs, while also gaining a deeper understanding of insurance functions to contribute to new product ideas that meet market needs.

Responsibilities:
Strengthen and expand relationships with existing insurance carriers and aggregators in your book of business
Drive sales through the development and execution of sales strategies with a focus on VIN solutions, Registration Data, and Marketing solutions. Drive significant growth in existing and new clients where applicable.
Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential insurance providers, aggregators or related partners, building relationships to fuel business growth.
Work with Actuary/Pricing, Underwriting, and Claims teams to inform product development that aligns with our business objectives to effectively promote VIN solutions.
Act as a bridge between departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork for revenue growth.
Support broader S&P presence at various industry events and trade shows
Stay informed about industry regulations, market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to contribute to our competitive edge in the insurance market.
What We’re Looking For:
Requirements:
Insurance Interest: Ideal candidates should have demonstrated 5-10 years experience working with Automotive Insurance products, B2B relationship management, a passion for the insurance industry and an understanding of its dynamics, products, and customer needs.
Sales experience working with automotive insurance companies, especially focused on expanded revenue opportunities.
Prior experience at related companies or top 10 insurance carriers is a plus but not mandatory.
Financial Awareness: A foundational grasp of the financial aspects of insurance decisions is important for you to align our products with financial goals.
Insurance Basics: Familiarity with key insurance functions like Actuary, Underwriting, and Claims is necessary for effective communication with teams and partners.
Data Awareness: We're seeking someone who can appreciate the value of data in insurance decisions. Basic data analysis skills will be essential for customizing solutions.
Business Interest: An interest in business development and partnerships is crucial. You'll assist in identifying new opportunities to expand VIN revenue across various markets.
Collaboration: You'll work closely with our product team to support new business growth and enhancements to existing offerings.
Skills: Ability to communicate effectively including building & tweak collateral as needed
Nice to Haves: Background carrying and exceeding quotas, Trade show & industry event experience, established relationships and credibility within the auto insurance marketplace, residence in major insurance markets such as Massachusetts, Illinois, Ohio, or Connecticut
