The Plot Thickens: Job Description (PR + Social focused)
- Develop high-quality PR and social media content, including press releases, executive briefing materials, media Q&As, byline articles, media pitches, and other client-facing materials.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports, campaign recaps, and other account deliverables, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timely delivery.
- Work closely with account teams and clients to support client programs, contribute ideas, and ensure projects are delivered effectively and on schedule.
- Support the planning and execution of media engagements, industry events, trade shows, and other integrated communications activities.
- Build, maintain, and leverage media relationships across business, financial, technology, industrial, and automotive sectors. Support media outreach, story development, and interview opportunities.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and client relationships, providing proactive communications support and recommendations.
- Contribute to retainer and new business pitches, proposals, and other account development activities.

The Hero’s Background: Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or social media, preferably within an agency environment.
- Experience working on B2B communications programs and independently managing projects or client relationships.
- Strong writing and communication skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to develop high-quality client-facing content and communicate confidently with clients and overseas teams.
- Good understanding of the media landscape and experience with media engagement and industry events or trade shows.
- Strong traditional PR skills, together with hands-on experience in social media, are preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Curious, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and a genuine interest in communications and technology. Experience in the automotive or semiconductor industries is a plus.
- Experience with new business pitches, proposals, or social media platforms such as WeChat and Red is a plus.
