Job Description
- Adopt a client centric sales strategy to build strong and mutually valuable merchant partnerships across a variety of industry sectors.
- Establish SME status for A2A Payments and the target sectors, driving cross-functional engagement to progress and secure opportunities at pace.
- Drive positive business outcomes, establish fluency in Visa seller side solutions and effectively articulate all aspects of Visa value proposition.
- Champion Visa strategic priorities and vision. Responsible for leading and delivering key strategic initiative goals and objectives, primarily Visa A2A, but also other Visa Added Value solutions identifying new and working closely with existing merchant partners and payment partnerships.
- Reporting excellence, ensure accurate and up to date reporting and opportunity pipeline management using preferred CRM platforms.
- Continuously review market landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new creative approaches to growing the business
- Strive to deliver Visa goals and be a role model for Visa’s leadership principles
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2 to 3 set days a week (determined by leadership and/or site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Experienced results-oriented account executive with proven influencing, business development, selling and negotiation skills. Exceptional at developing relationships and sales partnerships
- Strong knowledge of seller side payment solutions. Experience working with merchants on open banking, subscription services, or alternative payment solutions desired.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization including executive management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to lead and collaborate across functions and/or geographies in a complex matrixed environment.
- Possesses high standards of ethics and integrity towards employees, stakeholders and customers.
- Committed to cultivating a community through the Visa Leadership Principles
- Ability to prioritise and focus on key deliverables, executing in a fast and entrepreneurial way
- Passion for Payments with sector and/or vertical expertise
- Strong commercial acumen, data management and analytics skills
- Willingness to travel periodically as required
