Position: Regional ABM Specialist

Location: Seoul, Korea or Tokyo, Japan

Employment: Regular, full time, hybrid work arrangement

The job

As the Regional ABM Specialist for Japan and Korea, you will design and execute high-impact account-based marketing strategies that deepen customer relationships, accelerate cross-sell, and drive expansion. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Adoption teams to deliver personalized experiences that maximize customer value and business growth.
This is a strategic and highly visible role where your work directly influences customer success and revenue growth in one of AVEVA’s most important regions. You’ll have access to world-class tools, cross-functional teams, and the autonomy to pilot innovative approaches that deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

  • ABM Strategy & Execution

    • Design, implement, and optimize ABM programs focused on cross-sell, upsell, and expansion within existing accounts.

    • Leverage data and insights to create targeted campaigns that align with account plans and business objectives.

  • Customer Engagement

    • Lead regional customer webinar programs—owning strategy, content, promotion, and performance measurement.

    • Develop tailored initiatives that drive product adoption, retention, and lifetime value.

  • Event Collaboration

    • Act as the marketing lead for flagship events (e.g., AVEVA World, AVEVA Days) to strengthen account relationships and advocacy.

  • Performance Measurement

    • Defined KPIs (pipeline, expansion revenue, account engagement), track account progression, and optimize strategies using data-driven insights.

  • Localization & Innovation

    • Adapt global ABM best practices for regional relevance while maintaining alignment with global standards.

    • Pilot new approaches (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) and scale successful initiatives across the region.

Essential requirements

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing with a strong focus on ABM, customer marketing, or demand generation.

  • Proven success designing and executing ABM programs that deliver measurable growth.

  • Fluent in Japanese or Korean and English (essential for local engagement and global collaboration).

  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and optimizing campaigns.

Desired skills

  • Familiarity with ABM platforms, CRM, and marketing automation tools.

  • Experience supporting product launches and collaborating with product marketing teams.

  • Knowledge of regional industries and customer lifecycle strategies.
