In this senior coordinator role, you will lead academic program administration across five health sciences departments. You will shape equitable, efficient processes for academics and students, driving continuous improvement and service excellence. 

What you will deliver:  

  • Coordinate coursework and graduate research program administration across the student lifecycle, ensuring policy compliance and consistency. 

  • Lead, coach and develop Academic Programs Team members, fostering collaboration, transparency and a supportive, high-performance culture. 

  • Provide authoritative advice to academics and students on policies, curriculum changes and complex enrolment or assessment matters. 

  • Plan and oversee key academic program activities, committee support and reporting to meet School and University timelines. 

  • Drive client-focused service standards, process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives across academic program administration.

  • Hold a relevant degree and extensive experience in complex student or course administration environments. 

  • Bring proven leadership experience coaching professional staff and building high-performing, client-focused service teams. 

  • Demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills, managing multiple deadlines and time-critical academic processes. 

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with academics and stakeholders, producing accurate documentation, reports and committee papers. 

  • Offer experience in higher education, government or large organisations, including frontline enquiry and advisory services. 

  • Enjoy investigating complex issues, gathering information and making sound judgements within policy and governance frameworks.
