Develop an understanding of process and device requirements for new NAND cells and help refine requirements, as necessary. Characterize NAND Memory cell and array properties to identify device improvement directions. Contribute to the architecture and process definition for state-of-the-art NAND cell, by providing expertise in NAND device physics and array operation. Propose and evaluate new device modes & algorithms to enable future NAND technology scaling roadmap. Collaborate effectively with process, integration, reliability, and design teams, to address NAND memory cell deficits and deliver improvement roadmaps.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
Position requires:
1. Semiconductor device physics and fabrication processes.
2. Statistical methods, volume data analysis and experiment design.
3. Electrical characterization techniques for semiconductor devices, utilizing equipment such as probe stations, Agilent 4155C/B1500, Agilent E8362B, oscilloscopes, and VF-TLP-PB systems.
4. Integrated circuit design and operation for CMOS and memory technologies
5. Device reliability assessment and failure mechanisms.
6. Software development and programming using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Sentaurus.
7. Device modeling and simulation for performance optimization.
8. Memory architecture and CMOS circuit design.
