Job Summary:
The Market Sector Sales Engineer (MSSE) will drive sales growth with a focus on the semiconductor market. This position requires developing a strong understanding of all aspects of the semiconductor market. 
Candidate must reside in or around Oregon and California.

Your Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates must enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and customer service. Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying emerging trends and innovative technologies within the semiconductor market
  • Supporting and developing electric thermal solutions for semiconductor customers
  • Communicating effectively and building relationships to drive product specifications
  • Managing projects and coordinating with multiple internal and external teams
  • Thriving in a competitive environment and pursuing large opportunities, including orders exceeding $1M
  • Tracking and managing opportunities using CRM tools
  • Creating and executing sales strategies within the assigned market and territory
  • Training, educating, and guiding customers to ensure successful solution adoption
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of competitive products, pricing structures, services, and market focus
  • Traveling approximately 50% within the assigned region
  • Focusing primarily on Fremont, CA; Livermore, CA; and Tualatin, OR (territories across California and Oregon)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 5–7 years of experience designing, specifying, quoting, selling, and consulting within the semiconductor market
  • Site and market certifications are a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and documentation
  • Ability to assemble bills of materials from takeoffs and communicate scope to application engineering
  • Ability to present electric thermal solution concepts and explain proper use, sizing, and installation to customers, consultants, and contractors
  • Experience implementing sales goals and executing training programs
  • Ability to provide guidance on inventory and stocking requirements

Compensation:
Base Salary: $83,000 – $130,000 per year
Additional compensation includes bonus eligibility and a car allowance.
