As a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient development, ramp, and optimization of cutting-edge manufacturing processes integral to Intel's success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing factory metrics, driving process enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to sustain and improve manufacturing operations. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing tools and strategies that support high-volume production while solving complex challenges that enhance factory performance.

The team focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, sustaining factory operations, and driving efficiencies to support Intel's leadership in technology development and high-volume manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze factory metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational enhancements.
- Develop and sustain manufacturing decision support tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define manufacturing requirements and optimize processes.
- Provide technical support during new product introduction (NPI) builds.
- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure operational efficiency and address deficiencies.
- Develop manufacturing plans, supply chain strategies, and documentation to enable robust production processes.
- Define requirements for automation systems and coordinate their implementation to align with factory goals.
- Partner with operations management and stakeholders to solve challenges impacting factory capacity and performance.
- Drive system enhancement roadmaps and support the development of factory reporting systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, with demonstrated skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.
- Proficiency in manufacturing process control, process improvement, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Foundational knowledge of good manufacturing practices and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to analyze data and implement solutions to optimize factory performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
- Experience in group problem-solving and disciplined execution in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with manufacturing small form factor devices, automation systems, or related equipment.
