The Role and Impact
Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing Advanced Packaging Test Tester Front Office is seeking a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer Contract Employee to support customer execution, supply chain operations, manufacturing planning, and business growth across Intel's tester ecosystem.
As a Segment Lead, you will serve as a key business integrator responsible for aligning customer demand, material readiness, factory execution, and delivery performance. You will work closely with Planning, Factory Operations, Quality, Technology Development, Supply Chain, and Contract Manufacturing partners to manage execution risks, enable business growth, and support operational excellence.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring Intel can successfully scale operations, improve customer delivery performance, and support future business growth while allowing senior subject matter experts to focus on business transformation and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer and Business Execution

  • Own execution activities for assigned product segments and customers.

  • Drive alignment between customer demand, factory capacity, material readiness, and manufacturing execution.

  • Identify delivery risks and drive recovery plans to closure.

  • Support delivery performance improvement initiatives and customer commitments.

Supply Chain and Material Readiness

  • Monitor material readiness, shortages, inventory health, and supply continuity.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and Intel stakeholders to resolve execution issues.

  • Support new product introductions, product transitions, and business ramps.

  • Participate in inventory optimization and cost reduction initiatives.

Factory Operations

  • Support factory output, capacity planning, and operational execution.

  • Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop business reports, metrics, and execution dashboards.

  • Drive process discipline and operational excellence across assigned product segments.

Business Growth and Transformation

  • Support business expansion and operational scalability initiatives.

  • Participate in process improvement and automation readiness activities.

  • Develop standardized business processes and operating procedures.

  • Enable organizational readiness for future business growth.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain, factory operations, planning, materials management, or business operations.

  • Experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience using SAP or equivalent business systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience.

  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and global supply chains.

  • Understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and manufacturing execution.

  • Experience supporting new product introductions and factory ramps.

  • Knowledge of BOM structures and material planning processes.

  • Experience driving cross-functional business initiatives.

  • Project management and process improvement experience.
