SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Lead, manage, and drive the growth of the Decorative business operations within the country by developing, articulating, and executing key sales strategies and action plans. Ensure the achievement of strategic objectives while contributing significantly to the overall performance and success of the company.
This position will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh and will be reporting to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the Local Management Team, influencing strategic decisions to align the Decorative business segment with company goals and achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and support team members, fostering their personal and professional growth while ensuring alignment with organizational values.
- Oversee the development of a high-performing organization by effectively delegating responsibilities, optimizing operations, and maintaining focus on strategic priorities.
- Regularly engage with managers and teams to monitor performance and provide targeted support for efficient business operations.
- Build and lead a dynamic sales team by recruiting, coaching, and retaining top talent while offering skill development opportunities to drive individual and team success.
- Oversee key functions, including Marketing, Technical Services, Specifications, and Customer Service, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
- Maintain and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) by implementing strong payment collection mechanisms and monitoring progress to meet acceptable standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What we are looking for:
- MBA or Master’s degree from any recognized university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in management, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) with excellent communication and writing skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with fluency in Bangla.
- Strong expertise in Office 365 and related tools.
