Seed Coordinator/Customer Operations Specialist
Hours: Day Shift; Overtime will be required during peak season.
Hourly Wage: $21.50 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package as well as other company sponsored benefits.

As a Seed Coordinator/Customer Operations Specialist, you will be a valued team member responsible for operational duties at the Minot, ND Agronomy Service Center. You will provide support as necessary to the Location Manager, which will include supporting operations on seed processes, order fulfillment, inventory management processes, logistics, and other administrative functions as necessary to meet the location’s needs.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Seed Coordinator: 50% of the time (during the fall/winter months) will include overseeing the seed process. This includes sampling, tagging, updating corporate of inventory, processing returns, overseeing equipment and other items as assigned to ensure our seed processes are followed.
- Operations/Customer Service: 25% of the time (during the spring/summer months) you will be responsible for handling all aspects of order fulfillment inquiries from our customers. This would include communications via calls or emails, updating customers on delivery ETAs, order statuses, etc. You will also support the manager with forecasting and inbound orders/transfers).
- Warehouse: 25% of the time throughout the year, you will be responsible of helping in the warehouse assisting with cycle counts, organizing warehouse areas and coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries. Operating a forklift will be required.
- Other Duties will be assigned as needed for the site’s success.
Experience/Education:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Post high school education preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of work experience required. Two years of accounting or general office experience preferred.
- Technology: Adequate knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, copying/scanning and proficiency with data entry and/or digital order management systems preferred.
When working in the warehouse, physical requirements regularly include:
- Able to pass a fit (respirator) test
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust and chemicals are present
Required Competencies-Skills:
- Fundamentals of mathematics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to learn new applications and processes.
- Must be agile and adept at multi-tasking and changing priorities quickly.
- Attention to detail is a must.
