Join our Security Risk & Compliance team and help build a secure, resilient, and compliant digital environment across ABB's global organization.
Your role and responsibilities
As a senior security and compliance professional, you will provide skilled guidance, manage complex assessments, and partner with stakeholders to improve ABB's security posture and regulatory compliance.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to effectively develop and implement security and compliance measures for ABB in your area of responsibility. Each day, you will protect ABB from rapidly escalating threats. You will also showcase your experience by staying vigilant in addressing security threats, taking charge of the organization’s cybersecurity, and keeping track of existing security infrastructure to ensure systems that protect vital information are secured and compliant to regulations.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Performing complex security and regulatory compliance assessments for applications, projects, services, and technology initiatives across the organization, providing experienced guidance and risk-based recommendations.
Acts as an experienced subject matter specialist in security and regulatory compliance by interpreting control requirements, applicable regulations, and internal standards, and translating them into practical business and technology guidance.
Identifies security risks, compliance gaps, and control deficiencies, and leads remediation planning with stakeholders to ensure effective and sustainable risk treatment.
Provides skilled advisory support to business, project, and IT teams on secure design, regulatory obligations, control implementation, and policy-aligned decision-making.
Supports audit, assurance, and regulatory readiness activities by validating evidence, reviewing control effectiveness, and contributing to responses for internal and external assessments.
Partners with cross-functional and global stakeholders to embed secure, compliant, and governance-aligned practices into business and technology processes.
Maintains high-quality assessment records, findings, and documentation in accordance with governance standards, audit expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Contributes to the continuous improvement of security and regulatory compliance services, methods, and assessment approaches by sharing knowledge, identifying optimization opportunities, and supporting knowledge development within the team.
Qualifications for the role
The ideal candidate combines deep cybersecurity and compliance knowledge with solid consulting, stakeholder management, and risk assessment capabilities.
8+ years in security and compliance roles.
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Cybersecurity or similar.
In-depth understanding and knowledge of security and compliance processes.
CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CRISC, ISO 27k LA, CISM, ITIL 4/5 Certified.
CISSP (concentrations), OSCP, CEH will be preferred.
Fluent English.
