We are looking for a Security Operations & Compliance Intern (m/f/d) to support the implementation and continuous improvement of TYTAN’s corporate, information, and IT security measures across the organization.
This is a hands-on role focused on translating security strategies, policies, and regulatory requirements into practical solutions for daily business operations. You will support the protection of sensitive information, IT systems, company assets, personnel, and facilities while helping balance security requirements with operational and business needs.

Your roadmap to make an impact

  • Support the implementation of corporate security, information security, and IT security initiatives

  • Assist with security risk assessments and the identification, evaluation, and documentation of potential threats and vulnerabilities

  • Support the development, review, and implementation of security policies, procedures, and internal guidelines

  • Conduct security checks and support assessments of offices, facilities, systems, and operational processes

  • Assist in protecting confidential, sensitive, and security-relevant company information

  • Support the implementation of access control, visitor management, clean-desk, and physical security procedures

  • Help ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, contractual obligations, security regulations, and internal company policies

  • Support information security and IT security documentation, including risk registers, control records, incident reports, and audit evidence

  • Participate in the investigation, documentation, and follow-up of security and information security incidents

  • Assist with user access reviews, asset management, and the secure handling of hardware, software, accounts, and company data

  • Support internal and external security audits, assessments, and compliance activities

  • Contribute to security awareness campaigns, employee training, phishing simulations, and other information security initiatives

  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, People, Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams on security-related topics

  • Relevant vocational training, professional experience, internships, certifications, personal projects, or practical exposure in corporate security, information security, IT security, compliance, risk management, IT, operations, or a related area is an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of corporate security, information security, IT security, risk management, and data protection principles.

  • Interest in security frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, or comparable security practices.

  • Good understanding of risk assessments, access controls, security policies, incident management, and workplace security.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to translate security requirements into practical day-to-day solutions.

  • High level of integrity, reliability, discretion, and awareness when handling confidential information.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

  • Native-level German language skills are required.

  • Fluent written and spoken English is required.

  • Previous practical experience in corporate security, information security, IT security, compliance, risk management, operations, or quality management is an advantage.
