Seeking Security Officer!Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care - Sellersburg, IN

Receiving general direction from the Security Supervisor or designee, enforces Hospital regulations, provides a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors and employees. The Security officer will enforce Hospital policies and security regulations through active monitoring and patrolling of Baptist property by continuously watching for and the timely reporting of potential safety hazards and unusual occurrences of assigned areas. As determined by supervisory personnel, the Security officer Investigates complaints or potential criminal conduct; assists in restraining patients as necessary; provides protective services.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year minimum experience in military, security, law enforcement, healthcare, customer service and/or International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.
Valid driver's license with good driving record
BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
