Security Officer (546)

The Security Officer position is responsible for securing the assigned premises, personnel, members, students and guests by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.

• Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises Protect the ministry’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations.
• Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance.
• Perform first aid or CPR.
• Provide excellent customer service.

• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma ID or License per the state of Oklahoma.
• High school diploma or GED, Bachelor's in Police Science or related field preferred.
• One (1) year proven work experience as a Security Officer, preferably.
• Valid Cleet Armed License is preferred;
• Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Sound judgement
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends). Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image.
