Your Impact 

As a Security Consulting Engineer, you will:

  • Lead and drive technology design, deploy, optimize, migrate, and troubleshoot Cisco security solutions, integrating them seamlessly with customer environments and third-party systems

  • Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycle: architecting security solutions, guiding migrations, validating designs, and serving as a focal point for proactive problem resolution, escalation support and technical guidance across Cisco and competitive technologies

  • Build and review design recommendations, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Implementation/Change Management Plans, and build customer simulations in lab to deliver scalable and resilient solutions

  • Collaborate across internal and external teams to align security strategy, support presales activities, and translate business requirements into innovative, customer-focused solution designs

  • Leverage AI and automation to optimize complex workflows and reduce operational overhead, identify opportunities for broader team adoption, and ensure AI-informed work consistently meets high standards of accuracy and impact

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying emerging security trends, mentoring team members, and championing best practices to elevate overall delivery excellence.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco Security solutions (e.g., Firewalls, Cisco-ISE, Cisco Secure Workload, Email and Web Security, Secure Network Analytics, Cisco Secure Access)

  • Proven migration experience with Cisco and competitive security products in enterprise or service provider environments

  • Knowledge of cloud security architecture and deployment on at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS)

  • Experience using AI and automation tools to enhance security operations, optimize workflows, and drive operational efficiency

Shift Requirement

  • Must be willing to work in a swing shift to support customers across the Americas (AMER) region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification: Professional level (CCNP) or Expert level CCIE Security or equivalent, CISSP/CCSA

  • Cloud Security certification (e.g., AWS/Azure Security/GCP)

  • Security Reference Architecture experience (e.g., ZTNA, NIST, 3GPP, ETSI, AI Infrastructure)

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams

Skills Required
