Managed Services is responsible for the reliability, security, and compliance of InterSystems-hosted platforms across public cloud, private cloud, and datacenter environments. This includes enabling a consistent, secure operating model that meets stringent regulatory and customer requirements while supporting rapid innovation and service delivery.
The Security Automation Engineer develops and implements automation frameworks to improve security operations, compliance, and consistency across Managed Services platforms, enabling scalable and repeatable security controls.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement security automation using tools such as Terraform and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning workflows
- Automate deployment and configuration of security tools including HashiCorp Vault and cloud-native services
- Develop automated remediation workflows for security incidents and compliance findings
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into platform architectures
- Drive standardization of security automation patterns across environments
- Support vulnerability management and compliance automation initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or automation roles
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps pipelines
- Familiarity with security tooling and integrations
- Strong problem-solving and automation mindset
- Relevant certifications encouraged (e.g., HashiCorp, AWS, Azure Security)
