Description:
We are seeking a talented Security Analyst to join our team, he/she would be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities within an organization’s IT systems, applications, and networks. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data by proactively detecting weaknesses and recommending remediation strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools (Qualys & Crowdstrike)
- Utilize monitoring security tools to detect and respond to security threats in real-time.
- Review scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and work with stakeholders to implement fixes and mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate technical and non-technical risks across systems and applications.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement security best practices and standards.
- Utilize JIRA workflow for efficient management of deployment tasks and security-related issues.
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST)
- Integrate security practices into our DevSecOps pipelines to ensure the secure development and deployment of software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Linux, scripting, and automation
- Vulnerability scanning and management.
- Knowledge in monitoring security tools for threat detection and response.
- Familiarity with JIRA workflow for managing deployment and security tasks.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly in Azure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Certifications Required:
- Qualys certified (Good to have)
