Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Associate - Account Opening & Client Onboarding. In this role, you will support account opening and maintenance activities, helping deliver a seamless onboarding experience for clients while ensuring operational accuracy, risk management, and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will:
- Support routine securities operations activities, including client account opening, onboarding, account maintenance, cash payments, funding, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established procedures, service standards, and risk and control requirements.
- Review and research lower-complexity operational issues, escalating matters outside defined guidelines to the appropriate team or manager.
- Gather and review information to support transaction processing, issue resolution, and time-sensitive client requests.
- Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and internal and external customers to resolve routine inquiries and achieve team goals.
- Monitor daily securities and cash-processing activities and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Support the implementation of process, procedure, and operational changes under the direction of experienced team members.
- Build knowledge of securities operations, applicable policies, procedures, products, and operational risk requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 6+ months of experience in client onboarding and account onboarding processes within financial services, banking, or securities operations.
- 6+ months of experience in account opening and account maintenance activities, including client documentation review and data validation.
- 6+ months of experience in data maintenance, data management, or client reference data updates with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
Desired Qualifications:
- Exposure to securities operations, wealth management, or financial services operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support operational excellence initiatives.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work a shift schedule of 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.
- This position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and candidates must be willing to work from the Hyderabad location.
