Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Processor to support critical operational activities that help deliver seamless experiences for customers and business partners. This role contributes to operational excellence by ensuring work is processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with established risk and control standards.
In this role, you will:
- Perform operational and transaction-processing activities in support of business and service functions, ensuring work is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established procedures.
- Review, validate, and process operational data, documents, and transactions while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable policies and controls.
- Research and resolve routine to moderately complex operational issues, escalating exceptions as appropriate.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare operational reports, metrics, and supporting documentation to help monitor business performance and processing effectiveness.
- Utilize internal systems, tools, and resources to complete daily operational activities and maintain accurate records.
- Support operational initiatives and process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to obtain, clarify, and provide information needed to support business operations.
- Interpret and apply established policies, procedures, and guidelines to address inquiries and ensure consistent execution of operational processes.
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to team members on operational procedures, systems, and process requirements.
- Contribute to a strong risk and control environment by following established controls, identifying potential risks, and supporting compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in commercial banking operations or a similar financial services environment.
- Understanding of money movement processes, including payments, transfers, or transaction processing.
- Experience handling refund transactions and related operational activities.
- Ability to review and process transactions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
Job Expectation
- Timing will be 2:30pm to 11:30pm.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and business partners.
- Proficiency in using operational systems, tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
