Our Fall Pipe vessels, Cable Laying vessels and Heavy lift vessels are highly technological equipment working in the offshore industry. As an engineer you are part of the engine room watch and perform watch duties, with due consideration for the engine room safety.Your responsibilities

You carry out duties according to STCW regulation

You maintain and repair the technical equipment on board according to instructions of the First or Chief Engineer

You operate main and auxiliary machinery and the associated control system

You assist the First and Chief engineer for the efficient and safe running maintenance of the equipment

You maintain a safe engineering watch
-
You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system.
Your profile
-
You completed a maritime education in Engineering
-
You have several years of work experience in the maritime or offshore field
-
You have a Certificate of Competency Officer in charge of an Engineering watch (III/1) or Second Engineer (III/2)

You have the required, valid certificates for the position, according STCW 2010 Amendments

You have a valid HUET or BOSIET certificate (preferable)

You have a STCW VI/6 Security Awareness or VI/6 Designated Security (preferable)

You have a valid Passport, Seaman's Book, Seafarers Medical
-
You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment

You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality

You speak and write English fluently
