Job Summary

As a SDET 3, you will carry out the day-to-day project activities, plan quality cycles, or tasks related to them, as well as process improvement and product quality assurance.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with organizational goals and project requirements
•  Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fostering a collaborative work environment
•  Oversee manual and automated testing activities to ensure comprehensive coverage of data-driven applications
•  Evaluate application performance and identify areas for optimization
•  Oversee defect identification, documentation, and tracking using appropriate bug tracking systems
•  Lead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency
•  Identify opportunities for process improvements within the QA team and contribute to enhancing testing processes

Qualifications and Skills

•  Bachelor's degree in computer science
•  Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide the QA team effectively
•  In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
•  Meticulous approach to ensure thorough testing and accurate defect reporting
•  Excellent communication skills to convey test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Role-specific Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a quality engineering field.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent designing and programming skills.
• Experience with automated QA tools, such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Maven, TestNG.
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience with Version control system like Git.
• Experience with Java for developing QA Test Solution
• Good experience working with and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience working with complex development stacks and able to test at all levels
• Working knowledge of any or all of these: Graylog, Jira, Zephyr, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Postman, Swagger.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• API, GUI and End to end testing experience
• Load and performance testing with tools such as JMeter
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills..
