Responsibilities
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
• Identify and troubleshoot obstacles/blockers that are hindering the team’s progress.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
• Communicate project/sprint status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-team coordination on dependencies and integration points through PI planning and Scrum-of-Scrums events. Work closely with other Scrum Masters and RTEs to align team roadmaps with the broader Agile Release Train goals
• Manage and track KPIs to help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
• Act as a servant-leader to help team members adopt and have a better understand existing Scrum/SAFe practices
Required skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
• Agile tools with a strong proficiency in Atlassian Tools Jira (project tracking) and Confluence (documentation)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
Preferred skills and qualifications
• Software industry background with general SDLC knowledge preferred.
• Exposure working with multi-national teams preferred.
• Familiarity with Jellyfish (engineering metrics) or similar tool is highly desirable
• Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
