These products are characterized by our own hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, and system design capability.
Since 2020 we have been part of the American multinational group Rockwell Automation, a leading player operating in the industrial automation sector with headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA).
At ASEM, we are looking for a experienced Scrum Master (Software) to enable cross-functional software teams to deliver value predictably and sustainably. As a Scrum Master you will report to the Test & Technical Project Manager, and have a hybrid schedule working in Verona.
Your Responsibilities:- Enable and coach 2–3 cross-functional software teams (development, testing/QA, UX, InfoDev, product, DevSecOps) to work using Agile/Lean practices and to continuously improve team outcomes.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies end-to-end (Sprint Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective) and support effective Backlog Refinement with Product Owners, ensuring shared understanding, clear acceptance criteria, and Sprint Goal focus.
- Identify, remove, and/or orchestrate the removal of impediments; proactively manage risks and dependencies across teams and stakeholders, escalating when needed to protect delivery and quality.
- Improve flow and predictability by introducing/maintaining flow and making progress transparent to technical and product stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement: help teams define and maintain Definition of Ready/Done and quality practices (shift-left, test-first mindset) in collaboration with QA/Test.
- Support planning and alignment across distributed teams (multi-campus): coordinate shared milestones, integration points, demos, and release readiness activities.
- Promote effective collaboration practices and documentation (Teams + shared spaces), enabling on goals, commitments, and delivery status.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as Scrum Master in software development contexts (product/platform/service), ideally with distributed teams
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle and validation/quality processes, and ability to collaborate effectively with development and testing stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and flow-based planning, with a data-driven approach.
- English language (multi-campus / distributed environment).
- Familiarity with collaboration and ALM tools for backlog/boards and delivery tracking (e.g., Jira; Jama, Jira Align, Teams).
- Experience in industrial software contexts (e.g., HMI/SCADA/IIoT), integration-heavy products or release governance.
