Scrum Master

Position Overview:

ShyftLabs is seeking a Scrum Master for Noida location. You will lead, collaborate and partner with multiple data engineering teams and Business partners to lead respective boards, metrics, and promote best practices.

Job Responsibilities :

• Guide and coach the Scrum team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers.
• Propel the team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
• Ensure team understands and adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
• Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters.
• Work with other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices.
• Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Guides and coaches team members to become self-organized, self-assess, and achieve higher levels of performance.
• Facilitates and supports team events (e.g., project planning meetings, retrospectives, demonstrations, software releases, process reviews, etc.).
• Develops and tracks metrics. Prepares reports to help team understand its progress during a sprint, work process or project, and identifies trends for team members and management.

Basic Qualification :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (i.e. > 3 years of of project development experience preferably leading Agile teams)
• Certification(s) in CSM, PMI Agile Scrum, SAFe Scrum Master
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
• Outstanding facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Expert knowledge of an Agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, and other Scrum techniques.
