Our client is a leading organization in the banking and financial services sector, seeking an experienced professional to join their team.
Agile Facilitation & Ceremonies
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, for one or multiple Agile squads.
- Provide coaching to team members on Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban methodologies, and effective self-organization practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-structured, prioritized, and continuously refined product backlog.
Delivery Flow & Impediment Management
- Proactively identify, monitor, and resolve delivery obstacles to safeguard sprint objectives and ensure smooth execution.
- Manage cross-squad dependencies and coordinate effectively with the Client’s teams and consulting partners.
- Protect the squad from scope expansion, unexpected requests, and unplanned disruptions that may affect delivery commitments.
Team Health & Continuous Improvement
- Promote a working culture founded on transparency, mutual trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage sprint retrospectives and team health assessments to identify and implement practical, measurable improvements.
- Support the development of Agile capabilities and enhance the overall Agile maturity of both the squad and relevant stakeholders.
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate key delivery metrics, including velocity, burndown, cycle time, and delivery predictability.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely progress updates to the TMO, NTP leadership, and the consulting partner.
- Facilitate alignment across multiple squads and contribute to effective program-level governance and coordination.
Requirements
Experience & Education
- Possess at least four years of experience in software or solution delivery, including a minimum of two to three years working in a dedicated Scrum Master role.
- Demonstrate proven experience in facilitating one or more Agile squads within a fast-paced delivery environment.
- Practical experience in Banking, Financial Services, or consulting-led delivery environments is highly preferred.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS considered an advantage.
- Possess practical experience using Agile project management and collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
- Have a solid understanding of Agile delivery metrics, forecasting techniques, and performance reporting.
- Hold a recognized Scrum certification, such as PSM I, PSM II, CSM, or an equivalent qualification.
Soft Skills
- Demonstrate a servant-leadership mindset supported by strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching capabilities.
- Possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Be proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing responsibilities independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Have a good command of English to communicate and collaborate effectively with the consulting partner.
Nice to Have
- Advanced Agile or Scrum certifications, such as PSM II, SAFe Scrum Master, or SAFe Program Consultant, would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting squads focused on data, analytics, digital transformation, or digital banking is preferred.
- Previous exposure to large-scale transformation programs within the banking or financial services sector would be beneficial.
- Experience working with consulting organizations or within onsite and body-leasing delivery models is considered an advantage.
