Equifax is searching for a Product Manager for its Scores product line. If you are passionate about building great products and experiences for clients, and possess an analytical mind with an understanding (or willingness to learn) about data, attributes, scores, and delivering insights to clients, we encourage you to apply!  The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of risk across sectors such as Personal Lending, Auto, Alternative Finance, or Telecommunications.

 

This position will be based in Atlanta, GA, and responsibilities will include product roadmap planning and management, innovation, strategic prioritization, product delivery. You will be working across sales, marketing, product operations among other teams to launch new products and drive the scores roadmap forward.

This role requires being in either our Atlanta or Alpharetta, Georgia office 4 days/week.

This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

What you’ll do

  • Research, Vision, and Strategy of the scores business, and Execution of same

  • Job duties include gathering requirements from prospects, partners and customers, developing a product strategy, defining a product roadmap and product releases

  • Working closely with an array of stakeholders such as operations and technology teams to ensure the successful development, delivery and implementation of a product

  • Assessing market research, competitive analysis and delivery effectiveness and interacting directly with prospects, customers, technology, sales, marketing and partners in order to identify opportunities for increased product usage and new product opportunities

  • Working with sales and marketing on new product launches including conducting sales training, creating sales tools, supporting the creation of marketing collateral and participating on sales calls

  • Communicating with customers to collect input to shape product directions. Creating stop-sell and sunset strategies for products when required

  • Staying in-tune with all things consumer credit risk to help drive strategic vision and roadmap .

What experience you need

  • 5+ years of product management experience including direct experience managing the development of new products and iterative releases

  • Direct experience working on analytical products ideally in financial services 

  • Sufficient technical proficiency to work with effectively delivery and technology SMEs regarding product development 

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or a related field.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to learn and efficiently use various software packages such as: G-suite, JIRA, Salesforce, Aha!, Confluence, and various AI tools
