Role and Responsibilities

How you make a difference

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you are responsible for managing and optimizing the seamless flow of goods and services within Samsung, with a strong emphasis on our Mobile and IT (smartphone-led) product portfolio. You play a key role in ensuring that products are available in the right quantities, at the right time, and at the right cost for the Benelux market.

This role involves close coordination across the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, production planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. By collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and international teams, you help ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement of supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize demand and supply planning for Mobile and IT products within the Benelux market.
  • Analyze market trends, sales performance, customer demand, and production capabilities to translate insights into accurate demand forecasts.
  • Coordinate closely with sales subsidiaries, regional partners, and production sites to align supply forecasts, inventory targets, and sales plans.
  • Track purchase orders and shipments end-to-end, ensuring timely execution and resolving any deviations or issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of procurement, transportation, and distribution activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact between local Benelux teams and international stakeholders, mainly located in Korea, Belgium, and The Netherlands.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
  • Prepare and present reports and analyses on supply chain performance, KPIs, and improvement opportunities.

Your team
As our SCM coordinator, you will be part of the supply chain team in Belgium. This team consists of six people in total, including the manager. You will be the only SCM coordinator in the team, but you will also work closely with our SCM coordinator in the Netherlands.

Skills and Qualifications

What are your assets
For this role, we are looking for someone who is analytical and skilled at identifying patterns and trends and you must have a keen eye for detail. It is also important that you are a good team player. You will be the bridge between our offices in Belgium and Korea. You communicate easily with people at different levels. Finally, you are able to maintain a good overview and can switch gears quickly when necessary.

We also request:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Several years of work experience in supply chain and/or logistics
  • Proficiency in Korean and English at a professional level, Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience with PowerBI is a plus
  • A flexible and dynamic work attitude.
