SCM-Business Planning-Supply Chain Planner

What you will do:

• Key liaison to suppliers on all related material supply scope, including forecast and delivery management.
• Ensure delivery request are met and timely response from supplier to avoid material supply interruption to production.
• PO placement and management of PO.
• Facilitates discussions between supplier and relevant stakeholders in the event a supply crisis is anticipated.
• Assigned to manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) and support sourcing/purchases from supplier with best QCOST (Quality, Cost, Operational, Service, Technology).
• Sourcing new/authorized vendor/handle supplier registrations.
• Request quotes follow up until endorsement - review validity, payment terms, costing, inco terms and delivery lead times.
• Request for negotiations to support in simple negotiations to meet savings target.
• Maintain purchase information, files and records (e.g., quotations, vendor files, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring documentation for compliance with procedures and regulatory bodies.
• Develop close relationships with stakeholders to meet key business needs and optimize support for the implementation of resource strategies.

What you will need:

• At least 5 years of working experience in factory environment.
• Understanding of Material Planning and ability to anticipate risk
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
• Interested in fast paced environment, market dynamics with good business sense.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and work with figures.
• Reliable, upright and independent way of working with ability to multitask
• Able to follow up with items with suppliers and ensure closure after quotation has been received.
• Ability to communicate with internal users (Nexperia team) and external users (Nexperia suppliers).
• Strong ambition and skill to quickly adapt to global and dynamic  working environment.
• Able to perform simple data analytics for quote comparison between suppliers.
• Able to use MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Technical knowledge on semiconductor direct materials is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on SAP would be an added advantage.
