Are you passionate about Food Science innovation and ready to make a significant impact on iconic brands? Join the dynamic and cross-functional team at Kraft Heinz Research & Development as a R&D Scientist! We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead Product development projects across our Meals and Kits Platform.
As a R&D Scientist, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, renovation, and maintenance of product lines, enabling growth and ensuring quality objectives and business continuity for Kraft Heinz. Your role will involve prioritizing and driving technical projects that contribute to the ongoing projects and Innovation Pipeline for the business. From crafting and performing tests to analyzing data, communicating results cross-functionally, and commercializing pipeline opportunities.
What's on the menu?
- This role has responsibility to work on new product development, portfolio renovation, value engineering, and brand maintenance projects.
- Work from ideation to commercialization, from benchtop samples to final production, and from raw material to finished product specification.
- Manage multiple assignments/development projects concurrently to meet R&D timelines.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal cross functional team and with external suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Apply ingredient and process knowledge, experimental design and data interpretation tools to make technically sound recommendations.

- BS/MS in Food Science, Food Engineering, Dairy Science, Meat Science, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years in a Technical Function (which can include all graduate and/or internship work)
- Product development and commercialization experience
- Understanding of ingredient functionality and interrelationship of ingredients and process
- Excellent communication, influencing, prioritization, and project management skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make connections to the big picture
- Ability to coach and motivate others
- Self-motivated to driver projects forward
- Manage multiple assignments/tasks concurrently with the ability to question the priority of work
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time
