Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., Lengnau as a Scientist Quality Assurance Operations and be part of a team dedicated to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This role is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of our quality operations, making a significant impact on our mission.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily quality assessments of facility, personnel, and documentation in both classified and non-classified areas.
- Ensure compliance of the manufacturing processes, batch record, deviation, change control, CAPA in defined timelines.
- Interact daily with personnel to assist with troubleshooting, documentation corrections/notes, and mentorship.
- Conduct quality reviews and approvals of procedures, training documents, and forms of moderate to high complexity.
- Participate as the quality assurance representative in Root Cause Analysis to support deviation investigations of moderate to high complexity.
- Support the preparation of the Annual Product Review (APQR).
- Active on-the-floor support
- Be on the floor during critical manufacturing steps
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance operations within a scientific or pharmaceutical environment.
- Outstanding attention to detail and dedication to compliance with cGMPs.
- Ability to successfully implement quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, concise quality mentorship.
- On-call services, remote, based on department organization.
