This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

We are looking for you as a Scientist (m/f/d) to strengthen our "Critical Assay Components" team. In this exciting position, you'll focus on optimizing chemical raw materials for diagnostic tests. • In your work, you will consider internal and external requirements such as manufacturability of raw materials after transfer to the production unit, sustainability, occupational safety, health protection, environmental protection, and quality guidelines.

  • You will be actively involved in project meetings, coordinating work packages between departments and partly representing the team lead.

  • Keeping up with current developments in organic chemistry through studying specialist literature, patent applications, and potentially attending relevant conferences is also particularly important to you.

Who you are

  • Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in an industrial or comparable environment in organic chemistry

  • You have already successfully worked in project management (desirable skill)

  • Excellent teamwork skills and very strong communication abilities define you

  • You possess good time management skills and general curiosity

  • Analytical and critical thinking, as well as outstanding organizational skills, are among your strengths

  • Very good German skills and good English skills complete your profile
