Schrödinger, the leading software and service provider for atomic-scale modeling and physics-based chemical simulations, seeks an Account Manager who will be responsible for establishing our materials science solutions in Europe.

This position offers a great opportunity to build and maintain a portfolio of materials science accounts within diverse industries (e.g., chemicals, aerospace, electronics, energy, etc.) across the continent.

What you’ll do:

  • Build a pipeline by identifying and creating new business opportunities
  • Communicate the benefits of digital chemistry approaches to industry
  • Work with the scientific and IT teams by planning/conducting customer presentations, demonstrations, road shows and special events
  • Continuously monitor market dynamics, analyze market opportunities, and build and execute marketing plans
  • Manage key accounts
  • Produce timely and accurate revenue forecasts
  • Travel to customers and prospects as needed

What you should have:

  • Advanced degree in chemistry, materials science or a related field
  • At least two years of business experience in the scientific software space (local market knowledge is a plus)
  • Fluency in English (German or French is a plus)
  • Motivation to develop a market

Estimated base salary range: €65k to €85k. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs. Skills Required
