How you will contribute:
Under the guidance and mentorship of your manager and experienced team members, you will:
- Work on projects aligned with the Choco Bakery strategy, contribute on mass science projects, specification excellence governance, and digital tools.
- Plan and conduct pilot plant trials for both I2M and non-I2M projects.
- Carry out development activities including product shelf-life testing, organising and facilitating round table sessions, and preparing consumer tests.
- Applying fundamental technical understanding and working with experts to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions.
- Technical report writing with clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Build knowledge and expand your professional network by collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
- Food science, science, or engineering ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods market.
- Foundational knowledge of chocolate ingredients (cocoa, milk) and process.
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently, with appropriate guidance from a manager.
- A collaborative mindset that leverages trust and partnership with stakeholders to support business growth.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities.
- A proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing practical solutions with increasing independence.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing and technical storytelling.
- Familiarity with mass science principles and digital tools used in product development.
