What You’ll Do

  • Confirm patient appointments and complete reminder calls according to company guidelines.
  • Coordinate and manage patient and clinician schedules efficiently.
  • Track daily scheduling metrics and communicate scheduling trends to leadership.
  • Answer incoming calls while providing exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within scheduling and billing systems.
  • Complete scheduling documentation, forms, and correspondence.
  • Provide administrative, billing, and customer service support as needed.
  • Protect confidential patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain dependable attendance while supporting the changing needs of the department.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume medical office environment required.
  • Patient scheduling experience in a physician’s office or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
