As Scheduling Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the release of anime content across global platforms. Based in Los Angeles, you will collaborate closely with the Scheduling Operations team and cross-functional partners to ensure the accuracy, feasibility, and compliance of content schedules, supporting on-time launches that meet operational standards and rights requirements. This role reports to the Manager, Scheduling Operations.
In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to validate schedules, identify risks, and coordinate readiness across multiple teams, contributing directly to the success of global content launches.
What You’ll Do- Own the end-to-end scheduling coordination for assigned titles, ensuring schedule accuracy across internal systems and downstream platforms.
- Input, maintain, and validate complex scheduling data in internal systems in alignment with operational standards and business priorities.
- Evaluate content availability, contractual rights windows, and delivery readiness prior to scheduling and publishing; proactively flag conflicts or risks to leadership.
- Partner with Programming, Localization, Delivery, and Operations teams to assess title readiness, resolve dependencies, and align on release timing.
- Track project milestones and apply judgment to adjust schedules based on shifting priorities, localization progress, or delivery constraints.
- Identify scheduling variances, delays, or recurring issues, escalating risks, and contributing to mitigation planning.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute weekly scheduling and status reports, providing insight into schedule health, risks, and trends for internal stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc analyses related to schedule changes, rights conflicts, and title performance readiness to inform operational decision-making.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of scheduling workflows, validation checks, and reporting practices, supporting operational efficiency and accuracy.
- 2+ years of experience in media operations, content scheduling, rights coordination, or content supply chain roles within entertainment, streaming, or digital media.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, exercising sound judgment in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and dependencies across complex schedules.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
Location
This role is based in Los Angeles with a hybrid work model (three days onsite per week).
