IDEALFORCE has multiple CONTRACT positions available immediately for SCCM/SCOM Patch Administrator to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Please find below additional details about this job. Client is considering only LOCAL CANDIDATES for this role.  

Job Description

• Manage and perform patch and software distributions, and manage security configuration of the systems.

• Provide reports for system health, configuration and compliance based upon pre-defined standards. Perform routine maintenance and apply software updates via the Microsoft System Center management tools.

• Manages moderate scope projects and significant parts of large complex projects as directed by management.

• Perform root cause analysis of service problems and develop solutions.

• Managing user and computer accounts, service accounts, and user groups according to standard.

• Manage Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPO).

• Coordinate with other Infrastructure teams to deliver patching and configuration items without user impact.

• Ensure processes are documented and up to date.

Qualifications

• BS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent experience in related roles

• Knowledge of the following Microsoft technologies: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Windows 7/8, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft

• Knowledge of the following virtualization technologies: VMWare ESX, VMWare Virtual Center, VMWare Workstation, Microsoft Hyper-V.

• High level of knowledge supporting System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager, and PowerShell.

• Enterprise level experience managing OS and application deployments.

• Experience configuration and maintenance of AD, GPO, and security best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions.

• Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment; Establish strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users.

• Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction and communicate pro-actively across appropriate levels.

• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.

• Ability to think critically and provide constructive feedback to others in support of the business requirements and needs.

• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly.

• Proven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong aspiration to learn new technologies.

• Proven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Skills Required
