Job Description
- Manage assigned portfolios as part of a Foreign Investment Fund Team which includes mutual funds (feeder and fund of funds), provident funds, and private funds in pursuit of outperformance over the assigned benchmark and/or designated target return
- Analyze factors influencing foreign exchange market in order to generate and recommend FX investment strategy
- Handle portfolio management activities including executing trades and dealing with orders across various investment products such as FX (spot and derivatives), ETFs, Stocks, and offshore mutual funds in accordance with the team’s process and strategy
- Conduct study on a variety of global assets and markets as assigned, and be able to form investment recommendation and constructively discuss market outlook with other team members
- Keep updating foreign master fund performance, market outlook, and investment strategy
- Help prepare due diligence documents requested by trading counterparties to ensure trading process runs smoothly
- Conduct trade modeling, investment analysis, performance attribution, or any other tasks that might be required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Business or related fields
- Minimum experience of 2 years with asset management firms
- Fresh graduates with outstanding background will be considered
- Strong analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative methods
- High computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency to code in VBA or Python will be considered more favorably
- Good command of written and spoken in English
- Passing at least one level of CFA or CISA will be an advantage
