We are seeking qualified applicants for the Contract position of SAP System Analyst, in Houston to support the development of the CPX maintenance management system (SAP). The ideal candidate will have/be a data integration & migration leader with 15+ years driving enterprise data strategy and largescale SAP programs (S/4HANA, ECC, SAP PM/MM/SD) in Oil & Gas industry. Specialize in business endtoend data readiness: scoping, cleansing, ETL orchestration, mock conversions, cutover, and defect management across EAM/Plant Maintenance, 

General Description: 

SAP System Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, supporting the maintenance management system development for the CPX pipeline system and compressor station. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Functions as Maintenance SME for CMMS Maintenance Build (Subject Matter Expert) for SAP  
  • Understanding of requirements needed to execute a Maint Build in SAP.   
  • Understand the need to assemble technical data, including hierarchy, equipment specifications, and maintenance frequencies. 
  • Understand Data standards, Asset Registry, Define Maint. Strategies, P&ID's, Set criticality, Call horizon, Span, Task lists, measurement points, work centers, SCE identity, BoM's 
  • Familiar with API RP’s associated with pipeline design and operation. 
  • Provide tracking, status reporting, and project progress updates to project management. 
  • Responsible for population of Load Sheets associated with the workstream(s). 
  • Functions as interface between Maintenance, Engineering and other VG departments. 
  • Responsible to submit MM creation based on vendor recommended spares where missing or as required for BOM development 
  • Responsible to map MMs to associated SPIL once identified for BOM development 
  • Support Material Management (as needed): 
  • Optimization of spare parts (Interchangeability, commodity items, repairable items, and vendor consignment options) 
  • Workshops to document the spare part and BOM design. 

Qualifications: 

Education and Certifications: 

Education: 

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Technical degree, or applicable nationally recognized standard Certification. (i.e. NCCER / NICET)  
  • Engineering degree a plus. 
  • SAP Materials Management (MM); Project Management Professional (PMP) 

Experience:  

  • SAP Super user 
  • Understanding of project development and delivery. 
  • Minimum Five years of SAP project delivery experience 
  • Experience with data strategy and governance. (RACI, standards,ownership) 
  • Knowledge with CMMS systems work management process (Work order process). SAP /PM experience is a must 
  • Experience with MOC, PSSR, HAZID/HAZOP. 
  • Periodic travel to project sites and consultant offices. 
  • TWIC holder or ability to obtain TWIC

Skills Required

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; technical degree or nationally recognized certification (e.g., NCCER / NICET)
  • Minimum five years of maintenance electrical technician work experience in Oil & Gas Midstream operations
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical industrial standards and regulations (ISA, NFPA 70E, FERC)
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, DCS/SIS/PLCs, analyzers, and F&G systems, including system administration, backup/recovery, access control, alarm management, and cybersecurity interfaces
  • Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and GuardLogix; GE MarkVIe and MarkVIeS
  • Experience with GC Analyzer Systems and F&G Systems (field and buildings)
  • Experience with rotating machinery vibration and speed monitoring systems and tank gauging systems
  • Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial network communication systems (hardware and software)
  • Knowledge of CMMS work management processes (work order process)
  • SAP experience
  • Experience with MOC, PSSR, HAZID/HAZOP
  • Periodic travel to project sites and consultant offices
  • TWIC holder or ability to obtain TWIC
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong leadership, organization and communication skills
