Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled SAP Consultant specializing in Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. Experience in Customer Service (CS) and SAP S4 HANA is a plus. The role involves hands-on support, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions within Thermo Fisher’s ERP landscape. You will collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and technical specialists to ensure SAP solutions meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand requirements and suggest SAP solutions aligning with industry standards and business objectives.
- Lead ERP technical efforts, design, configure, and implement SAP SD and MM modules, and support the CS module.
- Partner with business analysts and functional teams for successful SAP solution delivery.
- Ensure seamless integration and functionality of SAP with other enterprise systems.
- Support Agile transformation for iterative delivery of business value.
- Provide post-implementation support for smooth adoption of functionalities.
- Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and systems.
- Resolve SAP-related operational issues promptly.
- Conduct system testing and validation for successful implementation.
- Identify and propose system improvements to enhance business operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years in SAP SD and MM modules. CS module experience is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP ECC/S4 HANA configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business partners and multi-functional teams.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharma, or life sciences is a plus.
- Commitment to customer needs and innovative results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification.
- Experience in project management and leading SAP implementation projects.
- Familiarity with industry-specific SAP solutions.
