About the role:
Are you passionate about driving seamless SAP release processes and ensuring technical excellence in a global transformation journey? At Essity, we’re looking for a Technical Expert in SAP Release Management to take charge of optimizing our ChaRM framework and shaping the backbone of our S/4 HANA rollout.

What you will do:

Develop and Maintain SAP ChaRM: Develop, configure, maintain, and provide technical support for the organization-wide SAP ChaRM application and the OnPrem SAP Solution Manager 7.2 environment.

Define Governance and Best Practices: Establish and enforce governance frameworks and best practices for ChaRM usage within SAP Solution Manager, ensuring consistency and alignment across teams.

Collaborate on SAP Release Management: Work closely with project managers and the SAP Release Management team to ensure smooth execution of SAP releases, including testing, preparation, and go-live activities.

Provide Hands-On Support for ChaRM Processes: Execute operational tasks, such as managing transports through the SAP landscape, in adherence to approved change control procedures.

Resolve and Escalate Issues: Address and resolve issues related to ChaRM usage in collaboration with support teams, escalating to SAP as necessary for complex technical challenges.

Train and Empower Teams: Deliver training and support to project teams and line organizations, equipping them with the necessary knowledge to effectively navigate and utilize the ChaRM process.

Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for ChaRM configurations, troubleshooting guides, and ongoing system maintenance to support seamless operations and knowledge transfer.
Who you are:

SAP ChaRM Expertise: You bring a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP ChaRM, including end-to-end delivery utilizing the ChaRM component of Solution Manager 7.2.

Technical Implementation Proficiency: You have a proven track record in SAP technical implementation and expertise in configuring and maintaining ChaRM, Test Suite, Focused Build, and mandatory Solution Manager configurations.

Transformation Project Experience: You’ve successfully supported transformation projects, guiding teams through Change Documents creation, transport management, retrofit, and downgrade protection using ChaRM.

S/4 HANA Experience (Highly Desirable): On top of in-depth knowledge of Solution Manager 7.2 support activities and functional configurations, with experience in S/4 HANA development is a strong advantage.
