Job Description

  • Accountable for day-to-day operations of SAP applications, Middleware, and Databases.
  • Lead the governance and continuous improvement process, including identifying and refining business KPIs.
  • Analyze and assess business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization of Application operations.
  • Establish and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for Applications and Database Operations.
  • Working with service providers, develop and enhance the operational processes to address the backlog of production support tickets.
  • Lead and mentor SAP, middleware, and database team members comprising of employees and AMS members.
  • Coordinate with AMS partners in ensuring availability and performance of the applications and databases.
  • Involve in proactive monitoring of SAP, Middleware, and databases.
  • Ensure the Security and SOX compliance of SAP & Middleware applications and databases.
  • Coordinate integration efforts with SAP RISE ECS team, AMS teams as well as internal Infra, IT Security teams.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Auditors, Operations team, Infrastructure teams and service providers.
  • Coordinate installation, upgrade and maintenance of applications and databases.
  • Support SAP systems throughout the lifecycle of projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • 10+ years of combined experience in SAP, Project Management, and Production Applications Operations.
  • 6+ years of SAP Technical or Functional experience.
  • 4+ years of People Management experience.
  • 3+ years of project governance experience and leading globally dispersed teams.
  • 3+ years of experience handling ERP operations interfacing with various stakeholders.
  • Strong technical understanding of SAP core functionality, Infrastructure and Security.
  • At least one full implementation experience with SAP.
  • Experience with other ERP and Middleware technologies a huge plus.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments to meet business deadlines.
  • Excellent understanding of SOX processes and experience working with internal support teams in ensuring adherence to SOX controls.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to help facilitate operational continuity of S4 RISE virtual private cloud landscape.
  • Ability to partner with External Service Providers, IT and Business stakeholders on current and future initiatives.
