Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide hourly coordinator support for daily 3PL distribution center operations, including order flow, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, issue resolution, and operational follow-up.
  • Support SAP execution across the Water business by monitoring transactions, researching errors, assisting with corrections, validating order status, and escalating system or process issues that could impact service, inventory accuracy, or site performance.
  • Prepare and distribute daily site reporting, including key operational updates related to volume, backlog, shipping status, service performance, inventory issues, aged orders, open transactions, and exception follow-up.
  • Support 3PL site leadership to review daily priorities, communicate workload concerns, track open issues, and ensure timely follow-up on items requiring internal business support.
  • Serve as a first point of support for SAP-related operational questions from the across the business & 3PL team, help troubleshoot transaction flow, document issues, and connect the site with the appropriate internal resources when escalation is needed.
  • Monitor daily operational dashboards, SAP queues, exception reports, and other available tools to identify gaps, aging items, missed transactions, and opportunities to improve execution discipline.
  • Support inventory accuracy by assisting with transaction research, discrepancy follow-up, cycle count support, adjustment documentation, and communication of inventory risks to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain clear daily communication with internal partners and the 3PL regarding order status, system issues, priority shipments, service risks, and follow-up actions needed to support customer commitments.
  • Document recurring SAP, process, reporting, or handoff issues and help support corrective actions, standard work updates, and continuous improvement activities approved by leadership.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervision or management to support 3PL distribution center performance, SAP execution, reporting accuracy, and business needs.

Tools, Systems & Equipment

  • Computer workstation, telephone, Microsoft Office tools, reporting dashboards, shared trackers, scanners / RF equipment, and related operational support tools.
  • SAP / ERP, warehouse management systems, 3PL portals or reporting tools, order-processing systems, inventory transaction tools, exception reports, dashboards, and Microsoft Excel / Outlook / Teams.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant technical / operations coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 24 months of applicable warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, inventory, transportation, customer service, order management, or operations-support experience required.
  • Experience using SAP, ERP, WMS, order-management, inventory, or reporting systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to research transaction issues, validate information, maintain accurate reporting, and follow up on open items through closure.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with 3PL partners, internal operations teams, customer service, planning, inventory, transportation, and leadership.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse processes, shipping / receiving transactions, order flow, inventory accuracy, and basic distribution center performance metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize work, make timely decisions, solve problems, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced operation.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work well with associates, peers, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred, including the ability to update trackers, organize data, review exceptions, and support daily reporting.
  • Experience with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, standard work, or continuous improvement practices preferred.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $54,100 USD - $64,064 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
