Location/Division Specific Information
Business Intelligence Delivery and Operations team is part of corporate IT function under Enterprise Technology Organization. BI Team is responsible for data service, data lake and analytics services for internal customers of ThermoFisher Scientific

The Data Integration Developer role provides an opportunity for data job seekers who currently holds a data science, data analytics, computer engineering, or like engineering degree. Individual will be working with team of data analyst, data engineers in a fast-paced bi analytics environment. The candidate will contribute to development projects, pilots and advance best design practices.

- Have experience in SAP technology such as SAP Native HANA, BODS and SAC
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team and lead & mentor other team members
- Willingness to learn & innovate new solutions
- Is passionate about applications, analytics, end-user productivity
- Exceptional customer focus
- 4-year degree with major in computer science engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university (preferred) will substitute for minimum 7 - 10 years of professional IT experience.
- Master's degree in computer science engineering from an accredited university (desired)
Tool & Technology Skills
- Core BI Required Experience: Native HANA 2.0, Data Modeling with Calculation Views, Stored Procedures, Table Functions, AMDP’s, etc.
- BI Reporting Experience: SAC and Power BI ( Desirable)
- ETL: SLT (required) and BODS (desirable)
- 6-10 years of solid knowledge of SAP Business Intelligence tools (Native HANA, SAC, ,Power BI)
- Troubleshoot and support SAP BI solutions
- Prepare and validate BI solution design incl. dataflows, data sources, reporting and planning functionality.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BI Data architecture, Star schema and OLAP reporting models.
- SAP ERP application, data and processes experience is desired.
- Exposure to other data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Exposure to AWS Data Lake, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, Kafka, Redshift would be added advantage.
