Labcorp is hiring an SAP HANA Administrator. This person will administer our scale-out HANA cluster and Dynamic Tiering systems along with troubleshooting performance issues. This administrator will collaborate and coordinate closely with internal infrastructure teams to deliver a stable, highly available analytical systems. Specific duties include developing and implementing measures to ensure high availability for SAP HANA systems; fully documenting and standardizing operational procedures with appropriate controls to ensure operational stability; and facilitate infrastructure activities in support of ongoing SAP release and deployment projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of SAP BASIS Administration experience including at least 3+ years of HANA Native Admin experience with scale-out and scale-up configuration.
- Must have experience with SAP HANA Data Integration layer tools like SDI, SDA, Smart Data Streaming.
- Nice to have experience with SAP HANA Dynamic Tiering installation and configuration, Data Warehouse Foundation.
- Must have at least one HANA installation and SPS upgrade experience.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work in ambiguous situations/environments; demonstrated ability to break down problems into constituent parts and develop and drive plans for resolution.
- Ability to mentor junior staff members.
- Superior knowledge of DB2, Sybase and Oracle Server databases is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- SAP HANA installation, implementations, management, performance troubleshooting, configuration and migrations is required.
- Backup and recovery of HANA Databases, replication, memory sync, High Availability, Disaster Recovery.
- Configure and support for LCM to move delivery units within HANA Landscape.
- Multitenant Database Containers is an option
- Proficient in the use of ASAP methodologies supported by SAP best practices.
- Extensive experience of Basis administration is a must. Experience of working in a virtualized environment like VMWare is a plus.
- Proficient in working in Windows and Linux server environments.
- Experience working as part of a team to provide the optimal solution for both business needs and project standards.
- Network knowledge including firewalls preferred.
EDUCATION
- Four-year degree with Computer Science or equivalent experience.
