an experienced, forward thinking SAP Finance Joint Venture
Accounting Functional Lead with a passion for growth and business
transformation for an SAP Client Partner in San Ramon, CA. Join our team and
utilize SAP technology to configure, develop, deliver and support applications
for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. Our

of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their
needs.
The SAP Finance JVA
Functional Lead will work with the client to assist in the business
transformation of a Joint Venture to prepare/build their SAP S/4HANA finance
system. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Lead Project Finance JVA team with prep activities
for Fit to Standard Workshop and Global Architecture and Design
- Work on Operated and Non-Operated scenarios
pertaining to International, Canada and US Joint Ventures
- Work with cross-workstreams (GL, CO and PS) for
integration touchpoints
- Be a part of a Global Design Team for their
client's ERP Transformation to the new digital Platform
- Facilitate Fit to
Standard workshops to prescribe standard SAP business process and solutions to
drive customer to standard Scope of work is to prepare/build the sandbox system
(S/4HANA 1809 or higher) and other collaterals based on the Model Company or
Best Practices content for Fit to Standard Workshops
- Work effectively with SI as the deployment
transitions from Explore to Build phase.
- Be familiar with SAP Model Company (Multi-National
Oil and Gas) Best Practices
- Provide project management of a large complex ERP
solution effort
- Experience managing SAP staff and client to drive
project delivery and success
- Maintain a project schedule, cost, risks &
issues
- Ability to lead the to-be solution and challenge
the business
- Ability to articulate benefits of working in an
integrated SAP approach
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications/Experience:
- 5+ years of solid SAP
experience with a focus in Finance, Joint Venture Accounting, Balance Sheet
Valuation, Global Chart of Accounts, Enterprise Financial Master Data, and
Asset Accounting
- SAP Activate Methodology
preferred
- Experience with S/4 HANA
STE/MTE environments/implementations
- Heavy oil/gas industry
and accounting/finance intensive client experience
- Strong leadership and
communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- SAP HANA Certifications Preferred
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma Preferred
