We have initiated an effort to deploy S/4 HANA (ERP) to significantly reduce the size and complexity of Ford's technical footprint, refocus on differentiating capabilities, and standardize business processes. The current ERP focus is on the transformation of Finance and Direct Procurement. As a SAP FICO Functional Specialist, you would be responsible for SAP S4 Hana General ledger through working knowledge and configuration experience

Responsibilities
What you'll be able to do:
- Join daily PDO stand-up calls to review the status, and any help needed, and plan for the next day/week's work
- Work on Production Incidents ( Project manager will assign Incident)
- Work on new enhancements (PM will assign change requests)
- Work collaboratively with team, business, and other PDOs
- Defect resolution: analyze, debug, and identify the issue's root cause
Qualifications
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
- 5+ years configuration experience in S4 FI and CO modules: FI-GL, AP, AR, AA required. CO-PC, CO-CCA, CO-ML, CO-PA desirable.
- Enhancing SAP system using BADIs, User exits, Customer exits, and enhancement framework options.
- Prior experience in creating Use cases, user stories, and other requirements/specifications artifacts.
- Provide functional specifications and work with Software Engineers (ABAP, PCF, Fiori) Conducting and supporting testing on the SAP platform.
- Experience in multiple implementations of SAP ERP solutions with full life-cycle participation.
- Participate in solution design and perform unit testing/integration testing and UAT.
Our preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
- Experience working in a multi-company code, multi-currency environment is required.
- Ability to perform in-depth hands-on configuration of required SAP FICO modules.
- Analyze problems and troubleshoot to find the root cause.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP code (but not perform any technical development).
- Good knowledge of integration with other S4 modules - Purchasing, Sales and Production
- Development experience using various SAP development technologies including but not limited to the following: ABAP, Integration, and UI tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization.
